As the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, Keva Scott is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the organization. Within her first year, she put in cost saving measures and revamped the programs and services. Under her leadership was the first time the organization has operated in the black in over 5 years. Keva earned a B.A. in Communications and Business from Auburn University, a Master in Business-Organizational Development from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) from Auburn University. Keva has designed many programs to reach at-risk youth, received millions of dollars in program grants, partnered with over 150 different organizations/businesses to reach goals, and recruited and trained over 1,200 staff and volunteers, all of which enabled her to touch the lives of more than 10,000 young people with programs and services in her 27 year career in youth development.
Before joining BGCGC, Keva served as Chief Operating Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee in Nashville, TN. Her focus was on leadership and community partnerships, led to improved operational efficiency, strengthened program services, and drove organizational growth. Prior to that, she held executive management positions in operations and resource development with Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in Kansas City, MO, Auburn, AL, Norfolk, VA, and Opelika, AL. Scott also served as a National Training Associate for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Keva is committed to seeing that all young people reach their full potential.
