Healthy Lifestyles

Healthy Lifestyles Overview

At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, we want to teach kids and teens how to live healthier. Our programs focus on helping kids eat a more balanced diet, become more physically fit, and engage in healthy relationships. We hope to build healthy habits now that will last a lifetime. Every day at the Club, we provide nutritious snacks & Meals, fun, engaging fitness activities, and competitive sports. We teach youth how to nurture their own well-being, resist the negative influence of substance use & abuse, and stand up to peer pressure. We help them grow into happy and healthy adults. These programs develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals and grow into self-sufficient adults.
