Before coming to the Club, I didn’t help other people and I had a bad attitude. As the oldest child in a single parent home, I was usually in charge and I was bossy and selfish. I was also careless about my education, and did not always complete homework assignments. Funny how things change! Being at the Club has helped me to be more outgoing and involved. I volunteer all the time now, and I enjoy it! I also serve as a mentor at the Club, and being a role model for younger members has improved my attitude a lot. More importantly, I have developed a more responsible attitude towards school, and my grades have improved even more than my attitude! The Club has been such a positive part of my life.
